Guide on creating a Dream Rayvern Part1 OLD

(1) My head is stuck up to the clouds,  and my eyes are looking straight at you!

Let's start with the heads and eyes. Dream Rayvern's eyes, are big, and have big pupils, they are never small in anyway, unless of course if your drawing them freaking out or something for showing expressions in the art, that's fine. Their pupils are able to get smaller, but of course not too much like in cartoon.
The eyes can be circled shaped, they can also have eye lashes rather if it's a male or female, however males barely have eye lashes. But the ones that have more eye lashes detailed, is the third eye in the section as you can see in the drawing, but this type of eye is bigger than the others. When you draw the eyes, make sure you give them light spots in the eyes, but if it's dark it's not necessary. ( Unless they have their markings glowing, than yes. )
Now for the heads, their are four types of heads of a Dream Rayvern. The first one is my favorite, which is called the beak head, it can have a beak or it's snouts can be formed like a beak just like a bird. The jaws can be longer, but they must remain at least short enough, they cannot be that long length. Basically they can only be at least a lengths away or two lengths.  Now the second head is more rounded snout than the third head, however it cannot be longer than the others can, it's snout is always the same size. Now theirs nothing much about this head though, so I won't go more into details on it.  On the third head, it's a bit longer and can be shorter, it haves two small snouts at the front. ( Base of from Spyro The Dragon. Because I love that head type. )

(2) Can I glow for ya?

Dream Rayverns markings, and these markings of theirs is special,  most Dream Rayvern's have markings in three sections of part of their body, which are under the eyes, forehead and at the sides of their shoulders; Markings are not place in any other area besides these areas, which have meanings within their markings, I'll explain about this later on as I explain about them.  Let's start with the under eyes, under eyes glow only for two reasons, the first one is mostly a Dream Rayven's under eyes always glow from, which is in the dark. Depending on the color of the marking, it will glow brightly in the same color it is in, but more lighter and have a white spot to show it's effect. ( Just like art itself.)
Now the second part is barely used, but the under eye markings can glow when the Dream Rayvern forehead marking is glowing, depending on the element and its ability.

Now the forehead doesn't glow in the dark just much like the side markings, instead the forehead marking only glows when the Dream Rayvern is using it's most special element and ability. The forehead marking shows about the Dream Rayvern's personality and it's top element/ability. Now the sides have a meaning as well, and glow too but the sides are actually more rare than the forehead itself, the sides can glow in the dark just like the under eyes, but that depends on things and is more rarer for them to do this, the side markings have the same similarities as the forehead marking does, but their is differences. It glows mainly on its second top ability.

Before we move onto the next one, here is the basics again on each marking sections, please know that the markings can't be whatever you want if you want to create your Dream Rayvern, unforunately markings have limited for a Dream Rayvern.
Will explain below, also I know it is hard this way to figure it out, as I explain but at the same time it's a great way to figure things out what fits best for your Dream Rayvern and you. ;

Forehead markings; Forehead markings, must fit only for the Dream Rayverns personality and their element, it also most be who they are and be towards of their top ability.

Under eye markings; Under eye markings must fit on the Dream Rayvern's personalty.
Side markings; Side markings are the same as the under eye markings, but their more towards to what's within them. Basically mostly animals or something they like.

Now last thing before we move onto the teeth, not every Dream Rayvern haves markings as I mention before " Dream Rayverns have markings. " This isn't completely true, some don't have markings because of great reasons, most are born with markings but the ones don't is because they have to earn them. And that's where the stone comes in, which shows in my guide section 2, Dream Rayverns earn stones or gems. ( Which ever you want to call it. ) They glow just like the forehead marking, only it shines in the dark as well. The stone or gem, must be earn when the Dream Rayvern ( Which is you. ) accomplish enough of their dreams to earn their gem/stone, when they do, they can evolve into more beautiful, that is if you want them to or you can just simply have them with the stone or gem.

(3) Teeths or no teeth?

Just like toothless, Dream Rayverns can extract their teeth and make them disappear, but unlike toothless, you can slightly see the teeth in the gums. Dream Rayvern, mainly don't show their teeth, unless their happy, angry, sad or simply eating their brunch or dinner.

(4) Need extra claws? No problem!
Just like their teeth, they can extract two extra claws, which are called grapper claws. They use it for useful things, like carrying in their hands. Unlike their other claws, their grapper claws are the same color as their body color so it blends when it's extract in. But when it's not extracted, it hides within the Dream Rayvern's skiny scales. That's not the only thing that extract however, at the back of their hands and legs they can extract spikes. However, they only use them for great reasons and it's rare for them to extract them. The spikes are the same color as their claws. More information in part2.

(5) Head dresser please!
Now for the head details, Dream Rayverns can have spikes, but if you gave them spikes they can only have 3 or 2 of them at the side of their heads. If you gave them upper spikes they are actually moveable spikes, and no they cannot be stiff, to a Dream Rayvern their is no such thing is a stiff spike!
Now they can also have a unicorn/ram type of horns, but those don't move, however if your Dream Rayvern haves a mane, the mane can move!  At the upper part of the mane, that moves the most on its emotions, while the rest slightly move a bit to side to side, just like in the wind. However it doesn't move much like the upper mane does. Their are other things that can move in its emotions, such as feathers, fins ( not fins you know about, will explain about this more in part 3! ) Some Dream Rayverns can have a cool looking horn, or some kind of object on their forehead, for example like a tree sabling. Your Dream Rayvern can have feathers on it's head and neck, depends on how you want your Dream Rayvern to look. Some Dream Rayverns can even have lilypop horns on their heads and neck to tail tip, their lollypop horns can move too. Also I forgot to add something here, Dream Rayverns can have hair on their heads and necks and also all the way till their tail tips.

(6)  My chest plates shine!
 Chest plates for a DreamRayvern mostly looks like this, as it is shown in the guide. As you can see, they can have arrows, snake belly chest plates, blank or fur or just plan feathery. They can have zig zag, and even diamond. As you can see one of them is colored in, I took my time to color one, this one is a snake chest plate, Dream Rayvern's chest plates can be one color but most of them don't have just one. They have multi colors and great effects for their chest plates and wings! ( I did the same for wings in section 7, will explain that in the wing category which is below. ) Now you can color the chest plate as you please, however the 4th color is always white or the most lightest color of the color you had choices for it.  For this example, I have chosen purple, I did 4 types of colors, the first one is the base,  the second is lighter purple, the third is pink and the last is white. The base goes first, the light color goes in the middle, the pink goes more into the middle and the white, creates a white nice line; as you can see.

(7)  Let's take a flight and soar!
Dream Rayverns always have wings, rather its webbed, water wings and feathers. They got to have wings, and they always have that big thumb and claw at the end of their wing tip, rather its feathered or watered or webbed. Now for water wings and web wings they both looked exactly alike, but it's hard to tell, but their is away to tell the differences. Water wings are a bit see through than webbing's,  web wings are not see through at all. Dream Rayverns wings can also have a mix of web and feather wings. I'll explain more about the feather/web wings colors, but first I'll explain about the webbing colors and then the feathers; before I began on their mix of web feathery wings.
 Just as I mention about the chest plates, their exactly the same with the webbing, the webbing must be the same way as the chest plate, only the effects are a different way, which is only 2 effects such as the third and fourth effects while the others are the same way. The first effect goes at middle part of the webbing, it is spread in some areas, while the white or lighter color is at the edge of the webbing. Feathers have more free advantage, and can be a different color and have patterns, however most Dream Rayverns feather wings, are the same color of their body is.
 Now for the mix, unlike the webbing wings, it can be a different color and doesn't need to be exactly the same color of the chest, same with the feathers in fact you can color them in anyway as you pleased. But if your Dream Rayvern haves the mix wing, they are a bit bigger than the other Dream Rayverns, and have four times longer tail than the others.
